Soul Foods Group of Companies is a family-owned business, established in the UK and expanded into Canada, comprising three global brands, KFC, Starbucks and Taco Bell, with a total of 381 restaurants and a fast growing team of over 7,500 employees.
Challenges faced:
Installing an A/C unit in the server room seemed to be the challenge that Soul Foods Group faced, as there was no external wall which allowed for the pipework to exit. As this was a necessity due to the heat load from the server, our client was in urgent need of a solution.
Process & Solution provided:
Following a site visit, our specialists were able to find a solution to this problem faced by our client. Upon installation, they began to run the pipework through ceiling voids, into a room located above, through another room located across, which led to the exterior of the building.
Results:
Although this was a complex task, we were able to complete the installation without any damage to the property. The installation was completed in one day which kept our client immensely satisfied.
